Who we are
Logdriver, a Tinker & Scribe product, is operated by Tinker and Scribe Workshop Inc., 1146 Route 895, Elgin, NB E4Z 2M3. Privacy contact: Christopher Mitton, chris@tinkerandscribe.com. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, Microsoft, Apple, TeamSnap, TeamLinkt, or SportsEngine.
What we collect
Sign-in is optional (Better Auth). If you create an account you may use email and password, Google, or X. We then have the email and auth identifiers those methods provide.
The household board holds content the family types or uploads: shared calendar, chores and tasks with star rewards, lists, meals, and photos.
If you connect a calendar, we store the ICS or webcal feed URL so we can import events. If you connect Google Calendar, access is read-only. We store the tokens for that connection. Disconnecting that calendar deletes the stored token. That connection returns at /api/calendar/google/callback.
The browser may keep a local copy of household board state on the device. Demo mode is local-only and does not create an account. Resetting the demo clears that local demo board. It does not delete a signed-in household.
When you are signed in, household board state is stored in Postgres hosted by Supabase, our database provider, including the household_app_data row for that household (calendar, chores, lists, meals, photos, and routines).
The Today weather card can use the device location if you tap “Use my location,” or a place you pick. That location or place is optional and is used for weather only — it is not required for the rest of the hub. The coordinates are sent through Logdriver’s servers to Open-Meteo for the forecast. They are not written to the household database on Supabase. The browser may keep the place on this device.
Why we collect it
We use this information to run the household hub: sign you in, show the board, import calendars you choose to connect, and sync signed-in household state across devices through Supabase, our database provider.
How long we keep it
Account identifiers and household board content last while the account and household remain. Local device copies last until you clear site data or reset the demo. Calendar feed URLs and Google Calendar read-only tokens last while those connections remain. Synced household_app_data lasts while that household remains in the database.
Billing and transaction records are kept for 6 years, as Canadian tax law requires. We keep no card numbers. Deleted data is removed from backups within 8 days.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. A daily first-party sign-up report sends account names and emails to Tinker & Scribe's internal Workshop Board. That report is first-party. We do not sell it, and we do not share it.
Vendors that process data to run Logdriver are Vercel (hosting), Supabase, our database provider (for signed-in household data), Stripe (the Support Logdriver payment; we do not store the card number), Resend (transactional email from noreply@tinkerandscribe.com), Open-Meteo (weather, only if you share a location or pick a place), and Google or X if you choose those for sign-in or for read-only Google Calendar. These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where local authorities may be able to reach it.
Families and children
A parent or guardian operates the household account. Children do not need their own account. Names, chores, meals, and photos on the board are entries the account holder adds. They are not separate sign-ins. The signup form does not check age, so a parent or guardian should be the one who creates the account. The board may include a child’s name, chores, meals, and photos because the parent put them there. That information is sensitive. We use it only to run the household board. We do not use it to advertise, and we do not sell it. If you are a parent, you can ask us to delete the household, including children’s information, by emailing chris@tinkerandscribe.com. We respond within 30 days. If a household in the United States includes a child under 13, the parent must be the one who creates the account and enters the child’s information. This page does not claim COPPA certification.
Your controls
You can sign out, disconnect calendar feeds and Google Calendar, and reset the demo. Disconnecting Google Calendar deletes the stored token. Demo reset clears the local demo board only and does not delete a signed-in household.
Deleting your account
Deleting your account removes your app data, including the calendar, chores, meals, lists, photos, family members, and children's names, plus your profile and sign-in.
Billing and transaction records are kept for 6 years, as Canadian tax law requires. We keep no card numbers.
Deleted data is removed from backups within 8 days.
You can delete your Logdriver account and its data yourself. In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. On the web, use the delete account page. If you cannot sign in, email chris@tinkerandscribe.com from the address on the account. We respond within 30 days.
